Crypto Exchange KuCoin Raises $20 Million
Singapore-based crypto exchange KuCoin recently stated that it has secured $20 million in series A funding. This was achieved via the support of IDG Capital, Matrix Partners and Neo Global Capital. KuCoin states that these three firms have not only invested, but managed to build strong partnership relationships that will help bring cryptocurrency to the “masses”.
They also disclosed that using this funding, KuCoin will launch a “Platform 2.0” which is expected to go live by Q1 2019. The new platform will be upgraded and become “more than a single exchange” with many new features added to it.
KuCoin also plans to expand to major countries around the world before the end of 2018: Italy, Turkey, Russia and Vietnam are on its list. In order to do so, they intend to offer strong and consistent multilingual customer support for rapid communication.
