Regulators issue new warnings in connection with BTC growth and the launch of futures trading

The Secretary-General of the United Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), D.S. Ravat, has asked the government to take legislative measures against Bitcoin. He is worried about the impact of Bitcoin mining on the ecosystem, as well as the growing popularity of ICOs among Indian start-ups. According to Ravat, all ICOs should be banned. The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC) issued a warning about the risks of attracting unlicensed intermediaries in the trading of Bitcoin futures. At the same time, the SFC mentioned that trade is allowed on official exchanges regulated by the US Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and approved by the SFC.
