Bitcoin of Wall Street: NASDAQ plans to open BTC futures in 2018

Having broken the bar of $ 11 000 per token, bitcoin convinced New York financiers to consider it a commodity: the trades could be launched on the high-tech companies exchange.

Nasdaq and brokerage firm Cantor Fitzgerald LP are considering the issue of launching bitcoin trading amid reports of a $ 11,000 crypto currency. The launch of bitcoin futures may take place in early 2018, as the WSJ reported referring to sources familiar with the situation. Also, the financial company is considering the possibility of independently launching trading contracts for bitcoins in the first half of next year.
