For the most part, I am not a person who tends to speak in hyperbole. In the case of Hitbtc, I will say it is quite possibly the worst exchange that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Their markets tend to be more about explosive pumps and dumps of currency than actually trading. If you deposit your coins in Hitbtc, be prepared for extreme and unannounced delays when trying to remove them. There are times that transfers will sit for hours on their end (both deposit and withdrawal) for no apparent reason. If you choose, in this case, to contact support you will wait a bare minimum of 20 hours for any kind of response, if they decide to respond at all. With the large number of other options out there, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone allow Hitbtc access to their money. They do not act with any apparent responsibility to prevent or resolve issues that arise due to their own failure to maintain their service.
