Winklevoss Twins Quietly Add Tezos to Portfolio

10.07.2018

Early Facebook and Bitcoin investors Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss have quietly added cryptocurrency project Tezos (XTZ) to the portfolio of their investment holding company, Winklevoss Capital.

Only three other cryptocurrency projects are listed in the Winklevoss Capital portfolio: Ethereum, ZCash, and Filecoin. Both Ethereum and ZCash are traded on cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, which is owned by the Winklevoss twins. Filecoin has not yet publicly released coin or wallet software.

Some internet users have speculated that the Winklevoss Capital investment into Tezos is a precursor to a potential Tezos listing on Gemini.
