New Funding Rounds: TransitNet, Stronghold, and Gamedex


Initial coin offering (ICO) projects TransitNet (TRANSIT), Stronghold (STRONG), and Gamedex (GDX) closed new funding rounds in the period from July 5 to July 17, 2018.

TransitNet (TRANSIT), a platform to empower security token issuers with a set of tools for managing financial reporting, corporate governance, and title verification, raised $2.5 million in a funding round that closed on July 11. Investors include Translunar One, Kenetic Capital,  BKCM, Alphabit Fund, and NextProtocol Ventures.

Stronghold (STRONG), a decentralized exchange based on the Stellar blockchain, raised $3.3 million in a funding round that closed on July 11. Investors include Hack VC, Rick Marini, Daniel Macklin, David Samuel, Array Ventures, Matt Mickiewicz, Cantos Ventures, Neural Capital, Randy Reddig, Jacob Gibson, Vinny Lingham, and Precursor Ventures.

Blockchain-powered digital collectible card games company Gamedex (GDX) raised $800,000 in a funding round that closed on July 16. Investors include Union Square Ventures, Naval Ravikant, Mark Pincus, Invictus Capital, Fred Ehrsam, and Andreessen Horowitz.
