SunMoney Solar Group Announces Partnership with Ukrainian Renewable Energy Giant UkrTeplo #promo

On March 21st, renewable energy company SunMoney Solar Group (SSG) announced a partnership with Ukrainian renewable energy giant UkrTeplo for a new blockchain-based investment platform.

SunMoney and UKR Teplo signed a partnership agreement to sell hydro energy, biomass, biogas and solar energy investment packages on the new platform from UkrTeplo’s 200 Megawatt renewable energy portfolio.

SSG is a community-funded renewable energy company, established in 2013 with 2 million Euro of private investments. With more than 10,000 members in 28 countries, SSG owns and operates solar power plants and crypto mines running on renewable energy. Users of SSG’s current investment platform can purchase solar or crypto mining-based investment packages.

UkrTeplo is one of the market leaders in renewable energy for Ukraine. The company was founded in 2011 and currently conducts business in 14 regions of Ukraine as well as in a number of other countries including Moldova and Hungary. The company has successfully implemented over a thousand projects.

The new investment platform, to be launched at the end of the year, has already recruited some smaller clients, but UKR Teplo is the first big player to join the project.

The group is developing a blockchain-based platform to expand its existing service to third-party power plants. SSG is launching an initial coin offering (ICO) to fund the development of this platform, offering a total of 10 million Ethereum-based ‘SMT’ tokens to investors. 72% of SMT tokens are on offer for investors, with 30% reserved for private investors and a pre-ICO; 42% are available to investors in the ICO.

The SunMoney token sale started on March 15 and will run until April 15.
