Overstock Holds Bitcoin for a Rainy Day


Overstock.com Inc. is one of the first leading retail markets to start accepting Bitcoin, and it turns out that it is keeping more of what it receives. In their latest quarterly statement, the company disclosed that it holds $403,000 of cryptocurrencies. This is the largest figure since they started reporting it, and it will continue to grow according to Patrick M. Byrne, CEO and founder of Overstock, as the company is planning to increase its holding to 50% (currently it is 10%).
