I've been with Gemini for almost a year, and during that time I made regular deposits via bank transfers. Not large amounts, but I invest a weekly amount. I came into some extra money and decided to purchase BTC with it. With my basic account I could only transfer $500 a day into the exchange. On the third day i log in to see my account is frozen and to contact customer support. The ONLY way to contact them is via e-mail, which I have done twice and I get the same canned response that simply says we are looking into it. That's it. This has been almost a month. I cash and BTC on their site that has been locked up for a month that I can do absolutely nothing with and no way to simply talk to someone to get my issue resolved. I have no idea what they need from me or what might be this issue since no one has contacted me or given me an update. This is the only place I have found to voice my issue outside of their site.

I went to them due to all of the negative things I heard about Coinbase's support. Looks like this option is not much better. I understand having rules and regulations and I can tolerate them wanting to make sure things are done correctly, but at least communicate with the customer and give them some updates. Very very poor customer service. After reading similar complaints about them, It looks like I might have to go the lawsuit route too.
